After two nights in a very rolly anchorage, we headed into Kinsale Harbour and found a berth in the town marina. Our first night was spent rafted up on a large yacht with lines impossible to unravel and keeping her off the pontoon by about 3 foot. This made it difficult to get ashore. Since we wanted to get the tender back on board and go for a cycle ride this wasn't going to be very convenient. Fortunately the following day we were able to get onto a finger pontoon. We spent some time readying Speedwell for a long journey finding a suitable place for the tender, doing a bit of laundry and provisioning and just enjoying Kinsale. We went for few walks, a cycle and even a swim in the sea. (Or at least Helen went for a dip).
